Commissioner, Commission for Regulation of Utilities
Aoife MacEvilly was appointed as a member of the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) in October 2014. Her lead responsibilities within the CRU include natural gas markets, energy consumers and smart metering. Aoife previously worked in the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources in electricity and gas regulation, oil security and corporate governance roles. Aoife holds an honours degree in European Business Studies and German from the University of Ulster and a Professional Diploma in Regulatory Governance from UCD.
